As a Business Development Manager, you would work individually and within the team to support our growing business by generating qualified prospects for services. You will be responsible for creating and executing a plan for market growth to include sources such as hospital systems, physicians, assisted living facilities, and other healthcare / senior care providers.
We are looking for entrepreneurial, self-motivated individuals who excel at building new relationships, maintaining relationships, and working in a team environment.
Some of the Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Calling on and developing new referral accounts in the local health and senior care community
Promoting our services in a professional and creative manner
Following up with all accounts and developing contacts into active referral sources
Managing ongoing relationships with key accounts, tracking their referral activity within our online CRM system, ensuring their satisfaction with our relationship, and conducting all necessary follow-up
Taking after-hours and emergency calls as needed (on a rotating basis) and coordinating with our client service team to ensure service delivery
Maintaining accurate records on all prospective and active referral accounts
Working closely with the client service team to ensure client satisfaction
Completing all call schedules and sales reports in a timely manner
Meeting monthly and quarterly targets for new contacts, accounts and referrals
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
3+ years of experience in sales and account management, preferably within home care, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or medical device sales
Entrepreneurial and creative spirit/attitude
Thrive in an independent, self-motivated environment with little direct supervision
Maximize the resources at their disposal to build and maintain relationships
Have a passion for senior care and client service; compassionate approach
Have strong written and oral communication skills
Be team oriented and comfortable collaborating with other staff members
