For more information about BHI's product please go to http: Job Description This position provides technical knowledge for the sales organization and is responsible for architecting solutions for the multi-unit operations. This individual will accompany the National Account Executive and Major Account Executive on business opportunities to present the technical component of the SecureConnect solution. This position must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users, identify all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process and establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle. This individual will be the owner of the pilot implementations for the National Accounts Program (NAP) and must coordinate between departments to ensure successful transitions. Responsibilities Business Development ? Represent BHI products to customers and at events such as conferences, seminars, etc. ? Joint sales calls with National Accounts and Major Account Executives ? Convey customer requirements and configurations to Product Management teams ? Establish rapport with potential clients Engineering ? Provide documented requirements and design of pilot projects ? Track project hours to identify cost of pilot implementations per NAP ? Identify efficiencies to streamline and reduce cost of pilot implementations ? Provide documentation in a format that supports the implementation department ? Work with implementation to install pilot projects ? Pursue NAP acceptance of pilot projects in as short a time frame as possible ? Secure NAP go-ahead in two weeks so the MAE and Inside Salespeople can start calling franchisees to close deals ? Ensure pilots stay on track (follow agreed timeline) and get converted to billed accounts or cancelled ? Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs and customer pilot projects ? Document pilot within CRM and provide weekly status reports to Dir. of National Accounts Requirements ? Self-motivated with a proven track record in technical applications ? Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base ? Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports ? Organized and analytical ? Ability to overcome sales obstacles through creative and adaptive solution sets ? 3-5 years relevant experience in Technical Sales ? Ability to travel, occasionally on short notice Other ? Experience and familiarity of our products and line of business a plus ? Proficient with Networking, Firewalls and Microsoft Windows operating systems ? 4 Year Degree is strongly preferred ?
