Microsoft Dynamics CRM Developer Job Opening in Overland Park, Kansas - The Sr. CRM Developer is a lead technical position utilizing in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and core technologies (C#, and Java Script) to develop, integrate and implement business solutions. The Sr. CRM Developer participates in an Agile-based team environment to develop solutions for Sales and Customers Service to bring competitive advantage to YRC Freight in the LTL Transportation market. As a lead technical position, the Sr. CRM Developer will be a key voice in setting direction and providing guidance on how to best leverage technology to achieve business outcomes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs complex programming assignments requiring an advanced aptitude of established programming standards, methods and best practices.
Acquires and interprets business requirements, creates functional specifications and determines the most technologies.
Performs analysis of business models, logical specifications and/or customer requirements to design and build business solutions utilizing multiple technologies.
Designs, develops, tests, implements and maintains Microsoft Dynamics CRM based solutions.
Extends the capability of CRM through creation of new entities, forms, workflows and reports.
Designs business processes and data flows between Microsoft Dynamics CRM and operational / back office applications.
Contributes to, reviews and approves technical designs of software solutions.
Provides technical and best practice consulting to management, business partners and technical associates.
Works with engineers and architects in continuous improvement initiatives.
Conducts research into new technologies, including tools, components and frameworks.
Mentors, coaches and trains application developers.
Collaborates with developers to implement solutions, resolve problems and perform code reviews.
Follows development best practices such as version control, unit testing, continuous integration, performance and security testing, and appropriate documentation.
Ensures quality and maintains performance of deployed solutions.
Works with stakeholders following the Agile Scrum software development process.
Provides technical support and participates in on-call rotation to resolve critical application issues.
Acts as a subject matter expert in the discovery and investigation of critical production issues.
Assists with other projects as needed to contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Minimum ten years of experience in application design and development.
Minimum five years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM (ideally Dynamics CRM 2015).
Minimum five years of experience with C#, , Java Script, HTML and SQL Server.
Experience with data migration from external systems into Microsoft CRM Dynamics.
Experience designing and integrating Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions including plug-ins, custom workflows and entities.
Experience with OData and SOAP protocols.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online is preferred
