Job Summary: Utilize software development technologies and processes to support and extend Kimray's business software systems. Gather requirements, create and maintain project documentation, create/enhance software to meet business needs. Projects will include applications that extend our midrange ERP system as well as standalone and CMS applications, such as internal employee portal as well as Kimray?s public website.
Essential Job Functions:
Develop, implement, and support applications and sites in PHP, Net Web forms, MVC, C#, and various other server and client-side scripting languages.
Utilize current web development technologies (JavaScript and CSS Frameworks etc.) to build user-friendly web based applications for both desktop and mobile devices.
Build and use web services to integrate dissimilar systems.
Use MS-SQL to access data from a variety of sources.
Use Microsoft SQL Server to support application development and reporting projects.
Recommend system changes and enhancements.
Document software specifications and train users.
Comply with all safety policies, practices, and Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
Participate in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.

3-5 years of experience using Microsoft technologies required

Education and Experience:
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or combination of education and experience.
3-5 years of experience using Microsoft technologies required
Experience with content management systems such as WordPress is preferred
PHP experience is a plus
Experience with IBM i (AS400) integration / development is a plus
