Accountant/Human Resources Job Opening in Deerfield Beach, Florida - Job Description
Experience Required: We are a rapidly growing entrepreneurial company currently looking for an Accountant who likes people. Position requires a proven track record of working with small to mid-size companies. The candidate?s background should include experience in Accounting, preferably public accounting. This position will also fulfill Human Resource and Office Management responsibilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Full cycle accounting using Quickbooks: overhaul chart of accounts, ensure proper tracking of revenue categories, enter payables, cut checks, create and post journal entries, accruals, prepare for audits,
Onboard employees: write job descriptions, screen candidates, manage paperwork, write offer letters, manage and track PTO,
Office management: develop and manage company policies and procedures,
Create and manage monthly reports: financial statements, bank reconciliations, variance analysis, cash flow projections, chargeability reports,
Financial analysis and modeling as required: new projects, acquisitions, capital raise
Collect, analyze and document business requirements and transfer knowledge to the development team,
Communicate effectively with external clients and internal teams,
Requirements:
Advanced skills in Quickbooks, MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint,
Full cycle accounting including data entry and collections through financial reporting,
Ability to analyze and document complex business practices,
Ability to make effective business decisions under pressure,
Ability to think analytically and solve problems,
Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information
Ability to manage multiple projects and goals simultaneously.
