PT Accountant Job Opening in Sioux Falls, South dakota - New opportunity to join a small but growing CPA company! This position's responsibilities range from basic bookkeeping responsibilities to general journal entries and creating financial statements.
The right candidate must be personable, detail oriented, flexible to changing duties and priorities based on client needs, able to prioritize and take direction but also be independent.
Responsibilities include:
Reconcile monthly bank statements
Enter/pay accounts payable invoices
Collect/record accounts receivable invoices and checks
Prepare monthly financial statements
Prepare and record monthly journal entries
Process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls
Pay payroll taxes and file applicable reports
Prepare and submit sales tax returns
Reconcile GL Accounts
Assist CPA with other projects as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in accounting
3 years experience in accounting
Experience with QuickBooks a plus
Proficient user of Microsoft Office application
Must be willing to undergo background check.
