Auditor/Accountant Job Opening in Fresno, California - Moore Grider & Company is seeking a staff accountant/auditor. We are a CPA firm located in Fresno looking for individuals that are self-starters and great communicators. Travel outside of the Central Valley is minimal.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Performing substantive audit procedures such as comparing items to supporting documentation/audit confirmations, etc
Completing audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings
Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies
Contributing to team effort by completing assigned tasks, communicating results to the Audit Manager/Partner timely, and providing assistance to others on the audit team as needed
Assisting the Audit Manager/Partner with compiling preliminary draft of financial statements
Must meet the following requirements:
CPA with 2-4 years of experience, most which is in auditing
Bachelor?s Degree in accounting, finance, business or related fields.
Attention to detail
Experience in drafting financial statements
Ability to multi-task and work both independently and on a team
Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in auditing various entities including non-profit organizations.
Experience with tax and pension accounting/auditing
Experience with Prosystem Fx Engagement software
