BeneSys is a leading provider of Taft-Hartley third party administration services and is seeking an accountant to complement our team. We have serviced Union Trust Funds since 1979. BeneSys currently provides administration and I.T. services to over 150 clients representing over 350 Trust Funds in Michigan, California, Missouri, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Nevada, Utah, Rhode Island, Hawaii, Ohio, Oregon, Washington, Massachusetts, and Nebraska.
Position Overview:
We are seeking highly motivated, organized individuals to provide accounting services to our Taft-Hartley accounts. This includes preparation of monthly financial statements, reconciliation of general ledger accounts, investment statements and bank accounts, analyzing accounting documents for accuracy, prepare financial reports and analysis, payroll and other tax payments and filings, create and update excel spreadsheets.
Required Qualifications:
This position requires extensive knowledge of accounting practices and principals;
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Finance
5 years or more of experience in Accounting
Accounting Duties Include:
Prepare monthly financial statements;
Reconcile general ledger accounts, investment statements and bank accounts;
Analyze accounting documents for accuracy;
Prepare financial reports and analysis;
Payroll and other tax payments and filings;
Create and update Excel spreadsheets;
Perform basic and complex accounting duties;
Other duties as assigned.
