Senior Program Manager / Medical Device / Kansas City area Job Opening in Lenexa, Kansas - The Senior Program Manager we seek will have excellent leadership and project execution ability, technical acumen and at least six years of experience leading engineering and support teams through all phases of production in Medical Device. The Senior Program Manager is responsible for every phase of the product life-cycle, from proposal to project kick-off, collaboration with engineers during design phase, and ultimately the timely completion and successful commercialization of our devices.

Key responsibilities Include:
Responsible for bringing our client?s medical device product to market

Prepare project plans that specify project phases, tasks, task interdependencies, durations, resource assignments, and costs

Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project(s) is on schedule and within budget

Facilitate information flow between team members, the project leader, senior management and the client

Write and review customer proposals

Maintain detailed documentation throughout all phases of research and development

Make decisions on administrative and/or operational matters as it pertains to projects

Conduct feasibility studies of the design to determine ability to function as intended

Conduct risk analysis for products under development

Required Qualifications:
6+ years' working in a client-facing Program Manager role in Medical Device

Full-cycle product development experience

Demonstrated project budget management experience

Ability to manage diverse departmental goals toward successful project completion

Broad knowledge of project management methodologies

Proficient in Microsoft Project

Willingness to travel up to 30%

Knowledge of regulated industry, preferably ISO 13485 and FDA compliance

Well-established in the Medical Device industry's network

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
