Assistant GM/Administration Job Opening in Poughkeepsie, New york - Transit Management of Dutchess County is seeking a full time Assistant General Manager of Administration. This position will be responsible for overseeing the functions of grants, budget and finance, contract administration, procurement and data management for Dutchess County Public Transit System. This individual reports to the General Manager and is responsible for compliance with all requirements and standards of the corporate, county, federal, state and local agencies and assists the General Manager with overseeing daily operation of the Dutchess County Public Transit System. Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be proficient in accounting and word processing software and have the ability to supervise clerical and professional personnel. Associate?s or Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field or a minimum of ten years related (administrative oversight) experience, or a relevant Master?s Degree and 2 years related experience required. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
