07/28/2017 to 10/31/2017 - Possible extension, last contractor was there for a long time.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure collections of past due accounts receivables are handled efficiently and in a timely manner.
Accountable for resolution of billing disputes, short payments, adjustments, credits, and customer reconciliations.
Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned customer accounts.
Perform daily cash applications as needed.
Prepare and distribute customer A/R agings as necessary.
Research unapplied credits.
Serve as back-up for Reporting daily cash collections versus target to Senior Management.
Participate in annual audits and quarterly reviews.
Working hours: 40 hours per week, flexible schedule
Skills:Required:
Bachelors degree
At least 2 years progressive experience in general accounting or billing and collections
Strong computer skills, including Excel
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Highly-organized, detail-oriented, flexible team-player, ability to resolve conflict/disputes
Preferred:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting
Familiarity with accounting systems
Customer collections experience a plus
Most important:
1) Bachelor's degree
2) Advanced Excel, V-lookups, Pivot tables, formulas
3) Past experience in are pharm and medical device companies
