Experienced Bookkeeper for Title Company Job Opening in Great Neck, New york - Title company seeks EXPERIENCED bookkeeper for full-time (at least 32 hours/week) position. **This IS NOT a position for interns or individuals with no actual experience reconciling multiple accounts**
Must have experience with Quickbooks, Excel and IOLA accounts. The ideal candidate will have law firm or title company experience.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining and reconciling all general ledger activity
- Handling multiple monthly bank reconciliations
- Responsibility for accounts payable and accounts receivable reports
- Processing payments and monitor accounts for delinquency
- Corresponding with and paying vendors
- Controling and maintaining the accounting filing system
In addition to the above, the right fit for this position is someone who is very detail oriented, organized, a great multi-tasker, able to work in a fast-paced environment and a team player.
