Hotel Assistant General Manager Job Opening in Davenport, Iowa - The Current Iowa, a full-service, Marriott Autograph Collection, luxury hotel, is looking to add an Assistant General Manager to our team. The Current Iowa opened just weeks ago in July 2017 and features local and regional artists throughout the hotel. This position will be located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, just minutes from the Figge, restaurants, and the scenic Mississippi River.
The Assistant General Manager assists the General Manager in all operations of the hotel. This is a key leadership role in a growing company. The Assistant General Manager will oversee a staff of 120 and reports directly to the General Manager.
The Assistant General Manager will focus on:
ensuring Marriott Autograph Collection brand standards are being maintained in each area of the hotel
assisting and teaching managers scheduling based on occupancy and room goals
striving to increase guest satisfaction and being an active leader in achieving GSS goals
performs required annual quality audit with General Manager
complies with all corporate accounting procedures
assisting with budgeting for departments
Requirements:
Must have 2-3 years of hotel management experience
Assistant General Manager, Director of Operations, or Rooms management experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field
