Job Opening in Lexington, Massachusetts - iSpecimen, an early-stage Boston-area company in the healthcare and life sciences markets, is currently looking for a Customer Success Specialist to join our team. Using knowledge of clinical laboratory tests and specimens, this individual will be responsible for handling a variety of incoming research requests for biofluids ? first understanding study requirements; then matching them up to iSpecimen capabilities; placing and tracking orders; and ultimately delivering specimens and data to researchers. This position will work closely with iSpecimen sales personnel, researchers, and hospital/laboratory partners so great communications skills is a must. This is a rewarding role and a fantastic opportunity to be involved in a rapidly growing company at an early stage.
Responsibilities
Perform lookups in iSpecimen Curator® application to determine order fill feasibility for simple specimen requests; work with other internal experts to determine feasibility for complex specimen requests
Interact with customers via phone or email to understand study requirements for specimens for remnant and research (RUO) biofluid collections
Create SOWs for both suppliers and customers
Enter customer information into iSpecimen Curator® application
Enter orders into iSpecimen Curator® application
Support the sales team in resolving customer and supply issues
Assist with inbound and outbound biospecimen shipments as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience processing and/or testing specimens in a clinical laboratory setting
Broad knowledge clinical pathology specimens and related tests
Computer skills, including mastery of Microsoft Excel
Good organizational skills
Great interpersonal skills. Likes working with people. Positive attitude. Happy. Energetic.
Self-starter who likes to get things done and has an appetite for continuous learning
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment, think creatively and come up with new, valuable approaches
