Sales Associate Position Job Opening in Lahaina, Hawaii - Exciting and well established vintage style apparel company is hiring for sales associate positions to be part of a unique and growing company. Malibu Shirts is looking for individuals with retail experience and a true Aloha spirit, that is well organized, reliable, trustworthy, and follow all store procedures and rules.
Must be goal oriented with an enthusiastic personality.
Position: Part-time Sales Associate
Compensation: $12-$13 depending on experience + potential sales bonuses
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent
Preferably 1-2 years retail experience
Skills/Job Requirements:
Greet all customers and make them feel welcome in the store.
Provide energized, helpful, genuine and knowledgeable service to the customer throughout the store.
Help customers check out at the register.
Keep store stocked, clean and in order at all times.
Light cleaning and daily maintenance.
Possible opening and closing responsibilities.
Ability to work independently or with a team.
Know the store?s daily goal and actively well to ensure the goal is met.
Self-confident and self-motivated with a positive attitude and approach to work.
A desire to learn and obtain knowledge.
Abilities:
Open availability and flexibility to meet the customer demand and needs of the business, which includes holidays, weekends and nights.
Ability to climb, reach, bend and lift up to 30 lbs.
Ability to sell, share product information and history.
Operate POS cash register.
Knowledge of basic computer skills i.e. Word, Excel, email.
Ability to communicate well with customers and co-workers.
