Financial Analyst (Contractor) Job Opening in Springfield, Illinois - Financial Analyst Job Summary:
This is a short-term contract positon that will last 3-6 months . Provide high level financial analysis in all areas of Finance and Accounting. Must be able to skillfully synthesize complex or diverse information; financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, ad hoc reports and financial models, etc.
Essential Job Functions:
Collaborates and participates in the preparation of various financial reports and statements.
Directs the installation and maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures.
Directs the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses.
Directs and participates in cost analysis and rate studies.
Prepares statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues.
Requirements
Degree in Finance or related discipline is required.
Must be a strong leader, inspiring others, mobilizing others to fulfill the vision.
5+ year?s practical experience working in a management role over Finance and/or Accounting office.
Must have acute analytical skills.
Must have strong communication and presentation skills.
Must have effective change management skills by monitoring transition and evaluating results.
Must display original thinking skills and creativity, meets challenges with resourcefulness.
Must exercise keen judgment and decision making skills.
Must have advanced Excel skills
Experience with NetSuite accounting software is an advantage
Must be willing to commit to a short-term assignment lasting 3-6 months.**
