Schenck Process engineers have extensive application knowledge for processing industries such as chemical, food, plastics, pet food, grain, cement, mining, wood and petrochemical. We are currently seeking a Software Developer R&D for our location in Whitewater, WI.
The Software Developer R&D is responsible for the design, test, manufacture and documentation of current software products and new developments.
Responsibilities:
Participate as an active member of a multi-national product development team creating and maintaining software for industrial control products.
Support product development activities as a software generalist writing code for a variety of large and small applications including Windows PC, Linux embedded, SQL database and industrial controllers.
Execute all aspects of software product design including developing project specifications, planning software structure, recommending development tools, documenting work, writing customer manuals and training company staff.
Periodically travel to company locations to interact with R&D programming staff and internal customers.
Required : Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent. Five plus years of experience programming in multiple languages, front-end and back-end web application development, and proficiency in Windows and Linux environments. Experience in project management, software development, and technical writing preferred.
