We are expanding and looking to add several Software Analysts/Engineers to our growing team.
a Software Engineer/Software Analyst, you will be involved in all aspects of our projects and deal directly with clients and suppliers to foster positive long term relationships. With a hand in designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting our services and solutions, you will gain a deep understanding of supply chain solutions. The daily job functions may include:
Supporting a Project Lead in translating customer specifications into technical system designs for development
Drafting functional and technical specifications along with the estimated effort and delivery schedules * Reviewing technical designs and performing the development necessary for a quality deliverable
Working with clients both remotely and on-site during project planning, system installation, development, user acceptance testing, go-live, and maintenance
Learning and enhancing your knowledge of the system offerings
Applying functional expertise with the technical development and deployment of Longbow?s solutions
Technical Skills
Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)
Knowledge and work experience with C/C++, C#, Java, or other relevant programming experience
Operating systems ? Windows and UNIX
XML/HTML, scripting languages
Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Visio
Requirements
Bachelor?s degree in Computer/Software Engineering or related field
1 to 3 years of experience in a relevant discipline
Effective communication with strong written and oral English skills
Ability to work independently and multi-task
Ability to meet deadlines, work flexible hours and shifts
Able & willing to travel
Functional and/or Technical Expertise in JDA, HighJump, SAP or other Supply Chain Software systems (e.g., WMS, WFM, TMS) is a definite asset.
