The Compliance Analyst III will support Compliance in the development, implementation and maintenance of an effective Compliance Monitoring Program framework that includes an internal control structure, monitoring, and reporting. Will be responsible for implementation of control testing procedures in accordance with the monitoring and testing program. May lead small project teams to support the compliance program. Work may involve analysis of complex problems and evaluations to determine appropriate solution(s).
Job Responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert on the implementation and execution of testing Compliance Controls.
Identify Compliance Controls in place at the line of business and develop comprehensive test plan to assess the adequacy of each control.
Assess the controls design and effectiveness to mitigate compliance risk across all LOB's at Ally including Auto, Insurance, Mortgage, and Deposits.
Develop, and execute compliance testing and report results in accordance with the Compliance monitoring and testing program ensuring effective processes and controls are in place to support the current product and customer risk profile.
Lead discussions with Compliance business partners, Audit, Operational Risk, line of business Quality Control teams, and line of business management to communicate compliance testing scope and test plan. Review risks identified from testing.
Assist in communication of Compliance related management issues requiring management attention.
Ensure adherence to the Compliance issues management program including timely and accurate updates.
Participate in timely responses to regulatory exams and internal audits serving.
Assist in preparation of Compliance related management reports.
Qualifications
5+ years auditing / testing experience including experience developing and communicating test plans as the Lead Auditor / Tester.
Financial services testing experience across multiple business areas (Auto, Mortgage, Insurance, Deposits).
3+ years of Compliance experience, with emphasis on Consumer Regulations including a working knowledge of applicable law and regulation requirements.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and understand laws and regulations, identifying requirements and related controls and developing test plans.
Ability to learn new processes, systems and controls quickly, adding immediate value with little training or resources.
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and Outlook.
Ability to test using multiple techniques including sample testing and data analysis.
Ability to quickly develop and build new relationships.
Bachelors' degree in business or a related major.
Attention to detail and superior written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels of the organization.
Ability to identify and quantify risk and related root cause.
Proven ability to simultaneously accomplish multiple tasks assignments and prioritize work as needed to meet business needs.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year
