Receptionist Job Opening in New Orleans, Louisiana - Seeking a full time receptionist for front office. This is a fast paced but quiet office. Ideal candidate will be comfortable working alone with minimal supervision. Candidate must be able to multi task and know basic functions in Excel.
Job Description
Prepare time sheet information by collecting, calculating, and entering time data.
Answer the phone to take messages or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues
Communicate with employees, and other individuals to answer questions, explain information and address complaints.
Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Compile, copy, sort, and file records of time activities and perform auditing for accuracy
Assist the accounting team with month end/year end reporting and other accounting-related tasks as needed.
Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 6 months experience in an office
Ability to operate a computer
MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and Outlook) (entry level profiency in Excel is required)
Must be able to answer multiple lines on telephone
Solid data entry skills
QuickBooks experience helpful
Attention to detail
Basic math skills
Bi-Lingual will be a plus
