POSITION SUMMARY & REQUIREMENTS
A growing Orange County based commercial real estate investment firm is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sr Property Accountant/Lease Administrator who will assume hands-on responsibility for all Lease Administration tasks related to our growing national portfolio of stabilized and cash flowing commercial properties
Essential duties and responsibilities will include:
Oversees all aspects of lease administration for all properties.
Sets up new and renewing leases in MRI.
Reviews rent up reports and obtains support from Property Mangers for all changes.
Inputs tenant move outs.
Ensures that all property and tenant lease input information is up to date and
Prepares CAM reconciliations and estimates.
Assist in annual audits. Ensures reports/documents are forwarded to Auditor/CPA and maintains applicable
Prepares and updates straight line rent schedules for audit.
Maintains a full understanding of all property specific leasing processes and upkeep of pertinent information relating to specific properties.
Provides input/feedback for improving processes, procedures related to above duties and responsibilities, and initiating quality and efficiency enhancements.
Knowledge and Skills:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and background:
Bachelors of Science in Accounting or equivalent work experience
Extensive experience with MRI property accounting software is required.
Commercial Real Estate Experience a must , with Lease Administration for industrial, Office and/or Retail.
Strong proficiencies with Microsoft Office applications including intermediate to advanced level in Excel.
Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of the real estate transaction processes, including review of leases.
Problem Solving: identifies problems and reviews related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
