Sales Representative/Account Manager Job Opening in Madison, Wisconsin - Position Summary
We are looking for a passionate Sales Representative who will be responsible for sourcing prospective clients as well as selling to existing clients in the Wisconsin territory. You will partner with and ensure the long-term success of our existing clients within your assigned territory. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. You will liaise between clients and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our product according to customer needs. This position will work remotely 100% of the time other than when visiting client offices or attending/hosting events. Our Sales Representatives are paid a base salary plus potential as well as health and dental benefits, life insurance, 401K, paid time off, mileage and expense reimbursement, and full industry training.
The majority of clients will be in Milwaukee and Madison, however, we also have clients throughout Wisconsin including Green Bay, Eau Claire and Wausau.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Network to source new prospective clients and then obtain meetings with those clients to set the groundwork for and subsequently foster a long-term and mutually beneficial business relationship.
Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your clients.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our product according to customer needs and objectives.
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external customers.
Forecast and track key account metrics.
Identify and grow opportunities within client companies and collaborate with sales team to ensure growth attainment.
Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.
Visit and entertain clients by hosting or attending lunches, dinners, happy hours, client events and sporting events.
Conduct and attend seminars and webinars.
Host company vendor booths and attend industry-related conferences and events.
Requirements

Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information.
BA/BS degree is preferred.
