Sales Representative Job Opening in Hackensack, New jersey - Sunrun is the leading player in the residential solar market. We are looking to expand our sales force. Willing to train the right people. Successful candidates must be motivated by high income potential and making a difference, will have a demonstrated track record of winning outside sales, and will possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
We provide homeowners a cleaner more affordable source of power, and an industry leading customer experience. We offer multiple zero down, and investment options to go solar, along with battery solutions. Sunrun?s Field Sales Specialist are expected to generate their own book of business, and will receive little to no company provide leads. Field Sales Specialists will also receive the highest per order commission.
Minimum Qualifications
1 year of customer service experience.
1 year minimum of sales experience
Previous solar experience preferred.
GED/Associates degree
Door-to-door direct sales experience.
Strong closing skills
Clean driving record with reliable transportation.
Duties
Prospecting and developing self-generated appointments
Running in home consultations
Providing an industry leading customer experience up to installation and after the customer's system is turned on.
Availability to attend ongoing sales and product trainings.
Track and monitor performance against quota.
Available to work weekdays, evenings and weekends.
Frequent walking/standing for 4 to 6 hours per day.
Control an assigned geography to conduct sales activities.
Demonstrate strong understanding of our products and services
Must be self-motivated with an outgoing personality.
Job expectations: Helping families and businesses save money and educating potential customers.
Meeting with families at their home to explain the benefits of renewable energy, understanding their needs and providing solution.
