Summary/Objective This position is responsible for the sales of the organization's advertising products in a specified region or geographical area and provides ongoing support to advertising production.
Essential Functions

Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets.
Visit businesses to discuss advertising and present different options including time, design and duration.
Acts as a resource to customers for advertising opportunities and proposals.
Assists clients during negotiations, closing the sale, and developing marketing plans for accounts.
Attends community events to expand business contacts.
Participates in education and training, as provided, on selling and marketing programs.
Participates in sales meetings to include new client pipeline, closing rates, etc.
Keeps informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers.
Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of retaining clients and getting new accounts.
Troubleshoots problems regarding products provided.
Answers questions from clients and handles complaints.
Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
