Sales Order Administrator Job Opening in Tempe, Arizona - Sales Order Administrator
TMP International: The McFarlane Companies are looking for a skilled Sales Order Administrator with mass retail EDI experience. Responsibilities:
Processing orders and checking for accuracy
Using vendor websites such as Walmart?s Retail Link, Target?s POL, and Toys R Us? Vendor Extranet.
Assist sales with item setup on retailer sites
Pull in retailer orders via EDI.
Transmit orders to our third-party warehouse via EDI.
Work with our third-party warehouse and retailer systems to route deliveries within the time frames specified on the purchase orders.
Communicate with our third-party warehouse on priorities, labelling requirements and special projects.
Work with operations to determine product availability and with sales to determine when orders should be released.
Coordinate with third-party EDI vendor and new retailers to set up new requirements.
Track on time delivery performance to minimize retailer penalties
Perform various other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Problem solving skills
Professional communication skills ? verbal and written
Must be a reliable self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Adept at multi-tasking and managing multiple priorities
Ability to work independently and meet routine deadlines
Dependability, flexibility and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Microsoft Software program proficiency (Excel, word, outlook)
Be proficient in data entry with minimal errors, and detail-oriented
Can work under high time pressure, and keep high work quality under minimum supervision
Well-organized, initiative, strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
Experience:
Sales order entry experience
EDI and ERP experience
Experience working with major retailer vendor systems a plus
Job Hours are 8:30am ? 5pm, Monday ? Friday.
