Route Sales Manager Job Opening in Garner, North carolina - We are currently recruiting for a Route Sales Manager to join our Interstate Batteries Family at our Garner location. This individual will be responsible for selling new batteries to our existing dealer base, maintaining dealer relationships, and building new relationships through acquiring new business to help grow our Brand.
Responsibilities:
Sell new batteries
Determine and invoice for warranty replacements
Rotate batteries
Collect payment
Maintain routes by keeping displays clean and keeping dealer list up to date
Service each dealer
Set up new accounts
Establish, build, and maintain good dealer relationships
Complete documentation on a timely basis
Collect and return used batters to Distributorship
Successful candidate should be willing and able to assist in any way possible to benefit the operation. The ideal candidate should have a strong desire to grow with the company as future possibilities become available.
Required Qualifications:
Great work ethic
Character and great attitude is a must
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively
Must be organized and detail-oriented
Must have ability to multi-task
Must posses current CDL and have clean driving record with less than 2 moving violations with the past 3 years
Prior sales experience highly desirable
Good communication skills
Strong customer service skills
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Current, valid state driver's license
Ability to read, write, and compute basic math
Minimum 2 years demonstrated sales, customer service, and delivery experience
