The Position
This is a new role for ASM, so in some cases the candidate will be relied upon to ?start from scratch.? It?s a terrific opportunity for a more junior sales/marketing person and it?s expected the candidate is willing to learn along the way and help grow the position.
The Sales & Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in the growth of ASM?s residential and commercial market share. The main objective of the role is to help ASM maintain its growth by continuing to build the ASM brand and fueling sales.
This role will have responsibilities centered around filling the sales funnel, building brand awareness and securing customer/community loyalty. You will work with members of the sales, marketing, customer contact and executive teams to coordinate, communicate and support the company?s sales and marketing efforts and initiatives. Responsibilities:
Content
Create and maintain copy and collateral for sales and marketing activities including events, newsletters, client alerts, biographies, sales pitches, blogs, social media postings and more.
Assist in maintaining and updating websites.
Provide writing, editing and proofreading support to the production of marketing communication?s materials.
Events & Activities
Organize and facilitate prospect and customer events, activities, webinars and trade shows.
Research, prepare and submit for speaking and leadership opportunities at industry conferences, in publications and awards.
Manage sponsorship and philanthropic efforts including working with internal and external partners on upcoming activities, fulfilling logistical requests and recording.
Marketing & Sales Support
Conduct pre-sell client research, brainstorm and strategize new ideas to reach target audience and create sales opportunities.
Update and maintain marketing and sales materials.
Prioritize and support individual ad hoc sales requests, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
Ensure accuracy of marketing campaign submissions, implementation and quality assurance.
Communications
Ensure outbound marketing efforts are publicized internally, such as key customer communications, upcoming events, press releases and awards.
Write and distribute internal business communications.
Research and Development
Conduct research for new industry trends, platforms and strategies.
Help monitor the competitive environment and notify teams of any competitive threats.
Contributes to the identification and research of operational opportunities for the organization including tools, resource needs, and process gaps, and assist with development and implementation of solutions.
Reporting/Support
Assist with regular sales activity reporting to management.
Creation and management of internal departmental processes.
Required Education: Bachelor?s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications or Journalism, or equivalent with demonstrated professional experience.
Required Experience: Minimum of two years related experience in a corporate or service industry environment.
Technology Requirements:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat
Ability to use programs to capture, size, and import screenshots and graphics into documentation
Ability to utilize and manage company document files current, up-to-date and organized
Compensation
Base plus bonus. ASM offers 401k, healthcare, timely raises, PTO, and more. ***Must be able to pass a drug test and background check***
