**$5000 Sign on bonus will be offered to a RN with industry experience. (Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing or Memory Care)**
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our professional nursing team as the Director of Nursing in our beautiful assisted living and memory care community located in Oregon City, OR. Must possess a vibrant and dynamic personality with clinical and management skills to provide oversight and supervision of care for seniors and their loved Director of Nursing will be responsible for promoting the health and well-being of every resident, supervising personal care staff, and coordinating all personal care services provided to residents by personal care staff.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessment of care and service needs for residents prior to and upon Move-In
Monitor the health status of community residents and complete regular assessments and service plans
Conduct care conferences with residents and responsible parties
Ensure Healthcare Provider orders are executed with communication of follow up to Healthcare Providers
Ensure complete and accurate documentation
Provide orientation training and competencies for care team members
Knowledge of State Regulatory requirements and able to demonstrate clinical compliance
Hire care team members
Conduct Quality Improvement associated with company standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with community managers for support of resident and clinical goals
Requirements:
Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state of OR.
Experience in healthcare management and supervision in Assisted Living, Long Term Care or Residential Care Management
Ability to direct risk management tasks with the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written
Associates or Bachelor?s Degree strongly preferred in business or a field related to the position.
Assessment and service plan development experience required.
Proven management experience & ability to manage staff.
Minimum 3 years? experience in assisted living, Alzheimer?s or Memory Loss care.
Experience in Residential Care Management, Clinical Director, or Risk Management.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
