Night Auditor Job Opening in Morgantown, West virginia - Basic purpose: Provide service to guests at front desk during overnight hours while also handling the balancing and reporting of daily activities for all areas of the hotel (Food and Beverage outlets, golf courses, rooms/front desk, etc) to provide accurate and timely information while ensuring hotel policies and procedures are followed to prevent fraud.
Essential functions:
*Perform duties of Front Desk clerk including but not limited to guest services, reservations, check ins or outs, and wake up calls
*Follow night audit check list to ensure completeness and timeliness of checkpoints
*Audit, balance and report on all outlets (restaurants, banquets, golf courses, fitness center) cash and credit operations to include but not limited to reviewing package activity, documenting total cash sales, and running POS audit function daily
*Audit, balance, post and report on the front desk to include but not limited to; room rates, phone calls, corrections and adjustments to ensure accuracy and verify proper cash handing procedures are followed
*Audit, balance, verify and report on manual POS activity to include (Fitness Center, Golf, Snack bars, pool) to ensure outlet adherence to policy and procedure and accurate reporting of activity
*Report on all credit card batch settlement variances from draft capture to Accounting office
*Input statistics and balance income activity in daily report and distribute to management
Accounting background with Microsoft Excel knowledge preferred
