Telecom Billing Analyst Job Opening in Hillsdale, New jersey - Provides financial support and billing management for Carrier Services. Must have a strong understanding of telecom billing. Independent worker, Analytical, Problem Solver, Detailed Oriented, Out of the Box Thinker.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for reviewing enterprise telecom bills, identifying errors, filing disputes, and confirming complete bill accuracy.
Identify and explain root cause of monthly invoice variances.
Identify cost savings/avoidance opportunities.
Act as escalation point of contact for all billing and operational issues.
Participate in regular financial and operational meetings.
Create system generated detailed reports, pivot charts, and summaries based correlating circuit orders/disconnects with billing accuracy and financial forecasting.
Manage or participate in special projects.
Maintain our Clients Contracts Database through population, updates, and forecasting
Knowledge/Skills:
2+ years telecommunications billing preferred, invoicing experience at USOC, CSR Level, analysis for accuracy
Client facing experience in telecommunications, consulting, business analysis
Experience working with very large, Fortune 500 global companies preferred
Experience in telecommunications consultant practice as a business analyst a plus
Financial acumen
Experience monitoring service providers (carriers)
Professional presence and demeanor in both communications and presentation skills
Ability to work with limited direction and ability to understand and complete delegated tasks with superior customer focused quality
Must have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly, in writing and/or orally, both in one-on-one and group presentation situations
Basic Qualifications:
At least 2 Years of experience processing telecom bills
Proficient in MS Excel
Proficient in MS PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Information Systems/MIS, Accounting/Finance or related
Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, lookups, formulas, etc.
