Internal Auditor - Great Benefits! Job Opening in Fort Wayne, Indiana - Our client, a global company, is looking for an internationally minded individual to join its corporate audit team. Your role will be to undertake various operational and financial audit duties across the group?s operations. Ensuring outstanding internal controls and compliance is absolutely critical.
:
Perform testing for financial, operational and compliance audits of various functions in multiple divisions of the company
Build and Develop business partnerships with business unit leaders to help them understand and mitigate risks in their areas
Perform management assessment of compliance, including preparing detailed plans; creating process documentation, identifying key risks and internal controls, performing control testing, communicating audit results to management and facilitating management remediation to address deficiencies identified
Effectively supervise others
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and operating practices within company and divisions, including the safeguarding of assets and the economic and efficient use of company resources
Determine compliance with policies and procedures; report on deviations uncovered, identify control weaknesses and areas of cost savings, and suggests remedial action
Assist the external auditors in performing the year-end audit
Ability to travel 25% of the time.
Qualifications:
BS in Accounting, CPA, CIA preferred
1-3 years of audit experience in public accounting and/or internal audit within global company
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and reporting requirements
SOX compliance experience
Solid analytical and decision making skills
Critical thinking
Strong communication skills, ability to build solid relationships
