Sales Development Representative Job Opening in Broomfield, Colorado - ZOLL is looking for a Sales Development Representative to qualify leads and generate demand to build a solid pipeline for the sales organization. As a Sales Development Representative you will be an initial point of contact into our company therefore a key requirement is to conduct business dealings with prospects/customers in a way that creates a superior prospect/customer experience that will set the stage for future product sales for the Company. This position is based in Broomfield, CO and will require daily attendance in the office.
The Sales Development Representative is a key contributor in the lead-to-revenue workflow, receiving and qualifying inquiries from various sources including all marketing campaigns, web site, call-ins and other channels. This position also performs prospecting, calling, and development functions to build a solid pipeline.
Responsibilities:
Articulate the Company's value proposition to decision-makers across multiple industries to assess buying interest
Promote software solutions with various management levels and professionals across technical and business disciplines
Achieve or exceed lead development activity, marketing qualified lead, and sales qualified lead goals on a monthly basis
Promptly follow up and qualify all sales leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria definitions
Provide baseline research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information prior to prospecting call
Conduct outbound telemarketing activities against targeted accounts, prospect lists, and other call campaigns
Develop superior customer service relationship with prospects
Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the Company solution offerings and the target market ? and clearly articulate solutions capabilities and advantages to prospective customers
Contribute to every component of the critical functions associated with fulfilling the sales cycle (forecasting, reporting, customer database maintenance and data entry, correspondence, and communications)
Provide weekly activity report to management
Proactively continue company product and competitive product and market knowledge via website, on-line webinars, and marketing information
Social Media Monitoring: Engaging with social media platforms, creating alerts on keywords, researching topics and sharing information with individuals responsible for producing the content and responses
Update lead rank/stage and prospect interaction in SFDC throughout
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
2+ years of Sales or Marketing experience
Ability to understand and successfully promote technical offerings and solution sets
Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, listening and cold-calling
Ability to converse with and influence EMS/Fire organizations
Knowledge of marketing techniques and databases used in marketing a plus
Experience with or other CRM
Self-starter who is able to work independently
Solid understanding of social media tools and vehicles including Linked In, Twitter, Blogs and monitoring tools.
Track record of successful inside sales results: # of calls made per day; number of qualified leads generated from prospecting activities
A sense of urgency; highly responsive and customer service-focused
Experience in the EMS and/or healthcare information technology industry a plus
This is not an outside sales development position. Local candidates preferred.
