Sales Department General Job Description : The Automobile Sales Consultants function and responsibility can be summed up in four broad areas of activity: PERSONAL WORK HABITS, PROSPECTING, SELLING & FOLLOW-UP.· Realize that business is built on customer satisfaction.· Establish personal income goals that are consistent with the dealerships standards.· Determine customer's needs by asking questions and listening.· Keep abreast of incoming vehicles (New & Trades).· Deliver sold vehicles to the customer in a manner that ensures they understand the vehicles operating features, warranty and maintenance requirements.· Attend all sales meetings.· Maintain a prospect and customer development program.· Keep abreast of changes in the industry.· Know and understand equity and value.· Know and understand Federal, State and Local laws pertaining to the sales of motor vehicles.· Introduce customers to the service department and personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available at the an owner follow up system that encourages repeat and referral business and promotes customer be 18 years or older Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
