Application Programmer Job Opening in Stillwater, Oklahoma - Nature of Work:
The Systems Sustainer will provide daily assistance with information systems and software items within the office, while managing the data outputs of the various daily processes and automation. In collaboration with the current Systems Developer, this person will assist with all sustaining processes, which occur from database entry to membership fulfillment. This position will assist with records management, in-office questions, problem solving, list requests and data analytics.

Program Coordination
Constituent record auditing, correcting and investigation
Oversight of synchronization between external and internal platforms
Batch maintenance within Raiser?s Edge (RE), import exceptions between Import-O-Matic and RE
Process data requests and develop custom reports utilizing Raisers Edge, requested internally and externally
Data analytics for all programs to assist with tracking and visualization of data
Provides in-house expertise and technical support to end-users on database and software-related issues: Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems, working with outside vendors/technical support as needed, and documents, tracks and monitors problems to ensure a timely resolution
Works closely with the OSU Foundation to remain informed on software updates, upgrades and additional services
Maintenance of guest records and reporting within iModules
Develop custom reports to improve business processes
Updating of Tableau workbooks daily to provide dashboards for staff
Student membership automation and charging oversight, in-office solution finding
Review records email account to assist colleges with updates and list imports for constituent record management
Perform other duties as assigned
Organizational Support
Monthly audits to assist with payment plans, auto-renewals and renewal statements
Manage all membership data daily, monthly and quarterly to provide insight for marketing team
Collaborate with Systems Developer to ensure sound operation of all systems and work together in solving problems within the Central Processing System and Raiser?s Edge
Serve on the Core Team Group with OSU Foundation to review proposals, upgrades, software implementation and other initiatives
Manage organizational network access and storage, software
Maintain goals and objectives by providing constituent data and analytics for Alumni Association programs
Provide excellent customer service to all constituents inquiring about Alumni Association programs and events
Supports the Alumni Association by having sufficient knowledge of programs and services offered, and professionally represents the organization in a positive manner
Effectively organizes and balances tasks and priorities to keep multiple duties on track
Job Competencies and Experience
Education
Bachelor?s degree Management Information Systems or computer science with an emphasis in database management; programming experience in C++ or equivalent is required.
Experience
One to three years of experience in information technology, database management or data analytics.
Skills
Experience using a production environment and automating programs are required
Analytical skills to evaluate current systems
Strong communication skills
Ability to prioritize workload and complete activities without close supervision

Work Environment:
The position is housed in a shared-office setting within the OSU Alumni Center. Position requires availability to work nights and weekends as determined if problems were to arise within the automated systems. Flexibility within office hours exists for special projects throughout the year.
