Reporting to the CFO, this senior level position, based in our Philadelphia Headquarters at Independence Mall, requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on accounting management experience, in a leadership role, for a growing entrepreneurial organization. The Accounting Manager leads the oversees the organization's accounting and finance functions. The position supervises a Team of four department professionals who handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, client contracts, general ledger, and financial analysis functions. The Accounting Manager is responsible for the company's financial planning and reporting, budgeting, banking relationships, cash flow management, and system and controls implementation. As a member of the organization's Leadership Team, the Accounting Manager is proficient in the strategic planning and goal setting processes, and has a highly visible presence in the right candidate will have experience in a service organization, and be skilled in utilizing a project-based accounting model.
Requirements
Must bring an Entrepreneurial mindset
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business management; CPA preferred
Minimum of 5 years progressive experience as an Accounting Department Manager
Proven ability to manage department personnel and processes
Strong knowledge of project-based accounting system
