The largest applications of our materials include the purification of foods, beverages, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals through filtration; the modification of the properties of plastic films and coatings; and the absorption, carrying, and delivery of functional additives to various end markets. Senior Director ? EP Engineered Clays
The Senior Director ? EP Engineered Clays will report directly to the Board of Directors, EP Engineered Clays Corporation. This position will lead the EP Engineered Clays? global commercial team and will be responsible for directing all sales, distribution, financial and managerial activities throughout the world for bleaching clays, mineral adsorbents, and filtration aids. Specific responsibilities for this exciting role include but are not limited to:
Develop and implement a global sales plan that supports the Company?s long term volume and revenue goals.
Manage the financials ? put into place the appropriate strategies to achieve annual EBITDA, cash and price goals.
This role is responsible for all commercial activities regarding the Jackson, Mississippi plant.
Inspire, direct and manage the commercial team to identify new business opportunities and the enhancement of existing customer relationships, market share and profitability.
Lead the synergy development between DE and Activated Clay.
Coordinate the activities of EP?s Global Filtration Technical Service Manager to create competitive advantage through oleo purification optimization.
Identify and execute on DE/Activated Clay opportunities within the fuel additive and renewable fuels market.
Collaborate closely with the Innovation Department within EP Minerals LLC to drive new market development initiatives.
Oversee distributor relationships throughout all regions. Develop processes that drive growth through distributors.
Develop quarterly, monthly and yearly sales forecasts.
Ensure customer contracts are implemented with review and collaboration from EP Minerals LLC legal counsel.
Acts as a liaison to ensure cooperation and coordination between manufacturing, supply chain partners and other cross-functional team members.
Direct staffing activities, organizational development and performance management to improve the capabilities of the people in the organization:
Improve the bench strength of the existing sales organization
Work with Human Resources to create and implement succession plans for developing members of the team
Recruit and retain top quality talent with strong depth and breadth into the organization
What You Bring to EPECC
The ideal candidate will possess a technical background (i.e., Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, etc.) and a demonstrated history of building teams in a global environment. We?re looking for a candidate with strong business acumen who is technically adept with a strong record of accomplishment in business development and leading teams.
