Inside Sales- Account Manager Job Opening in Laurel, Mississippi - Busby Companies is seeking self-motivated, service orientated, innovative, and organized inside sales account executives in the Laurel, MS area. This is a full-time, in office position (M-F 8-5) with pay being based on salary plus commission. This position will rely on cold calling and requires service to in house accounts and various markets, sales support for outside sales, and assisting the Director of Sales and Marketing as needed.
Responsibilities include:
Achieving monthly sales quotas and goals
Work website leads and be available on live chat
Cold calling - weekly outbound call quota to be met
Answering incoming sales calls
Administrative paperwork
Serves as team coordinator for the region
Responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals)
Managing house accounts, upselling them with additional locations
Assist outside sales with quotes as needed
Collecting client resources for creative
Collecting payments from customers
Discover opportunities prospecting thru cold calling and email marketing
Scheduling appointments for outside sales representatives
Preparing proposals as needed
Working past accounts and renewals to maintain business
Requirements and Experience:
Exceptional phone etiquette
Exceptional work ethic
Bachelor?s degree
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills (i.e. Work, Excel, Outlook)
Experience cold calling, prospecting, and consultative sales
Diplomacy and patience
Efficient with basic math and working with numbers
Ability to build relationships with customers
Results driven individual, high energy, self starter
Strong commitment to customer service and follow ups
Ambitious and eager to succeed
Ability to stay organized
High level of interpersonal persuasive skills
1-2 years of sales experience is a plus
