Inside/ Outside Sales Representative Job Opening in Elizabethtown, Kentucky - Inside/ Outside Sales Representative
Will be responsible for current customer base and finding new leads, as well as offer support to outside/ inside sales.
Job Purpose:
Handles in person and phone-in customers with pleasant and courtesy etiquette.
Displays or demonstrates product.
Provides customer with verbal/written quotations or estimates, using appropriate customer pricing, credit terms and delivery methods.
Secures sales order or follows up with customer as necessary to obtain order.
Ensures timely and accurate delivery of materials to customer with proper follow up on order.
Resolves customer complaints and order problems promptly that involves vendors or other internal departments, as needed for appropriate resolution.
Complies with Company credit and returns procedures.
Seeks assistance, guidance or decision-making from management, when needed.
Continuously looks for new customer opportunities and makes cold calls, as needed.
Cooperates with vendors, manufacturers and co-workers to maintain positive clean work environment.
Additional Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Attend sales meetings, product and sells training, as requested by manager/ owner, company or vendors.
Maintains safety practices while driving, at customer job sites and inside all company locations
Hold a valid driver?s license in local state, maintain acceptable driver history and insurance coverage at all times, as determined by company insurance standards.
Interfaces with inside sales, outside sales and vendors to best serve customer and protect company?s business interests.
Adheres to company policies & procedures
Qualifications
Knowledge of power and hand tools, blades, strut, abrasives, anchors, fasteners, bolts, ect and their applications to help customers make proper selection.
Skilled in selling products & services, negotiating sales, pricing and terms.
Ability to effectively communicate information and present ideas and solutions to customer,
Ability to speak read and write proficiently in English.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to calculate figures, such as, discounts, percentages, and commissions.
Maintains strong customer service skills and inter-personal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and possess strong work detail and organizational skills.
Keeps the Company?s best interest in mind while conducting self and performing job.
Maintains confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive business information.
Exercises safety in all aspects of carrying out job responsibilities.

Physical Demands:
Possible frequent travel, sitting in vehicle to customer?s place of business or job site.
Sitting or standing at work area, using phones, computer and 10-key.
Frequently moving between other departments to perform job. Walking and standing on hard surfaces.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, 50lbs and more, for delivery to customer during regular sales call or emergency basis.
Frequent exposure to seasonal temperatures and fluctuations of inside/outside building temperatures.
Requires close vision with computer and paperwork, distant and peripheral vision for driving and product selection, and depth perception for safety in warehouse and building.
Primarily light industrial and office work areas. Exposure to construction sites, hard hat and safety sensitive areas. Moderate to high noise level.
