The Director of Perioperative Services a is an exciting opportunity. Our client is seeking an engaging leader who is looking to join their team to support surgical services in the areas of cardiac, thoracic, minimally invasive/robotics, general, GYN, Urology, Orthopaedic/Spine specialties over two hospital campuses as well as continue to grow their surgical service volumes. The Perioperative Director will also lend expertise in planning, process improvement and equipment selection in the building of a multi- million dollar state-of-the art, level three trauma hospital expansion that is expected to open in 2 years. The surgical service departments leader will oversee the OR, GI/Special Procedures, Sterile Processing, Pre-admit Clinic and Phase I & II PACU. Bachelor?s degree in a healthcare-related field
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Minimum of six years of recent work experience in perioperative nursing that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities, including three years in a supervisory or management capacity.
Equivalent additional qualifying work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities may be substituted for two years of the degree requirement.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing. or eligible
Current healthcare provider BLS certification.
