Emergency Medicine Physician Job Opening in Kennewick, Washington - Lynx Healthcare, a multi-specialty group with locations throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician to join the group in our Advanced Urgent Care Clinic.
JOB SUMMARY
The Physician will set an example of compassionate care and will be responsible for the delivery of medical services to patients based on the group?s policies, procedures and protocols. The physician will provide care for assigned patients and will be responsible for medical, educational and administrative services as assigned.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Physician will report directly to the Medical Director for assignments, consultation and staffing and will work closely with other medical, laboratory and administrative staff as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Documenting observations, assessments, and changes in patient?s condition
Work collaboratively with team members to diagnose, manage and evolve patient care
Work collaboratively with outside providers
Order appropriate diagnostic tests
Determining need for transfer to another facility or hospital
Set an example of compassionate and knowledgeable medical care
Stay abreast of developments in emergency and urgent care medicine and regularly communicate relevant information to other providers in the center
Be available for consultation to caregivers for routine care and for emergent medical problems
Participate in meetings as appropriate and/or as requested by the Medical Director
Direct patient care including medical assessments and follow-ups
Create a Plan of Care/Treatment Plan for new patients
Request necessary history and treatment plans from outside providers when indicated
Travel to assigned sites
Maintain confidentiality
Attend staff meetings.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
MD/DO. Ideally will have two years? experience in an Emergency Room or Urgent Care setting. Will consider new grads.
Must be licensed as an MD or DO. Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine

Salary: $220,000.00 to $280,000.00 /year
