Job Overview:
The Staff Accountant provides diverse administrative accounting services to Multiversal Enterprises and MultiMammoth properties. Must have thorough knowledge of both Companies? policies and procedures, and all benefits available to employees. Must have knowledge of federal and state laws.
Essential Functions:
Assist the Controller in all aspects of the company financials.
Prepares journal entries to General Ledger
Prepares bank reconciliations
Prepares detailed account analysis
Analyzes fluctuations in departmental results and variances from budgets
Assists other staff and management with maintenance of General Ledger system and reports
Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
Assist in the posting of accounts to the general ledger for: accounts receivable, cash receipts, accounts payable, cash disbursements and payroll.
Perform other related duties as directed or as the situation dictates.
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in Accounting preferred as well as one (1) to three (3) years of accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Must possess excellent communication and time management skills.
Must be flexible with work schedule.
