Night Auditor Job Opening in Charlotte, North carolina - 11pm-7am, must be available Mondays-Sundays
Night Auditor experience in a hotel is required.
Lakeside location near UNC-Charlotte, Charlotte Motor Speedway and Shoppes at University Place
15 miles from Charlotte Douglas Int'l airport (CLT)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Ensures the safety and security of hotel employees and guests.
In the absence of department heads, ensures that operations are running efficiently.
Participates in daily property inspections and assists the Department Heads in the maintenance and upkeep quality standards for all facilities within the Hotel.
Inspects guests? rooms, public access areas, and outside grounds for cleanliness and appearance.
Ensures that all required reports are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
Guest check ins and check outs
Answers patrons? complaints and resolves problems.
Ensures that all guests are served.
Must maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
TRAINING NEEDS:
Training in providing quality guest service, telephone etiquette skills, management skills training, training in sales, forecasting, and budgeting.
