Accountant Job Opening in Asheville, North carolina - Assist Controller with the accurate tracking and reporting of financial information relating to operations of the company, reporting activity in the appropriate accounting periods. Provide oversight for the Accounting Assistants preparing accounts payable entries, assist in the preparation of analysis for expenditures requiring allocations to different programs or locations. Process bi-weekly payroll, complete reporting requirements for Payroll activity and insure timeliness of required payments.
Associate's Degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field and the equivalent of 3 years of related experience. Must possess experience with electronic accounting systems; including payroll, AP, revenue, month end journal and creation of financial and management reports.
