manufacturer of oilfield process equipment is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization and oversee the senior management team. The incumbent?s career will demonstrate a successful track record of increasing responsibility in upstream oilfield equipment and/or oilfield service companies. This is a results oriented position that will fit well with a self-driven, self-motivated leader who can work effectively in a lean environment. The position reports to the Board of Directors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, develop, and establish policies and objectives for the company including supervising day-to-day operations in accordance with Board directives.
Strive to optimize the working relationship between the CEO position and the Board of Directors.
Establish and maintain a network of industry and regulatory contacts to stay abreast of trends impacting the company?s business activities.
Confer with the Board and management team of the company to plan strategic and business objectives; develop organizational policies; coordinate functions and operations; establish responsibilities and procedures for achieving company goals.
Review and discuss financial performance with the Board of Directors.
Oversee and coordinate communication with the Board, management team, and customers.
Establish the annual operating and capital expenditure budgets and financial and capital allocation plans.
Oversee company fiscal activities including financial accounting and reporting and maintain the adequacy and soundness of the organization?s financial structure.
Oversee sales and marketing functions.
Promote a safe work environment.
Participate in industry and other professional organizations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor?s degree from an accredited university. Engineering degree a plus. MBA highly desirable.
10+ years of senior leadership experience as an executive in oilfield equipment and/or oilfield services industries.
Experience working with private-equity owned portfolio companies.
Understand how current and future product strategies support market growth.
Understand Oil and Gas E&P activities.
Strong background in sales and marketing with a proven track record of execution.
Must be a strategic and creative thinker with solid analytical skills including the ability to evaluate cost analyses, pricing programs, and operating margins.
Solid track record managing/building a diverse organization and instituting corporate processes and procedures.
