Staff Accountant Job Opening in Monticello, Minnesota - Gateway Music Festivals & Tours, located in Monticello, MN, is in search of a detail oriented Staff Accountant. This person will report directly to the Controller. Areas of responsibility include:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Process daily check deposits
Reconcile and administer credit card accounts
Reconcile and enter expense reports
Act as credit card processing administrator
Track passenger trip insurance payments
Act as administrator to our online passenger registration system
Group invoicing and group balance maintenance within QuickBooks
Daily written and verbal communications with customers
Reconcile monthly bank statements
Serve as back-up for answering and directing phone calls
Miscellaneous projects as requested
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
2 year business or accounting degree or at least 2 years relevant experience working in an office or accounting position
Experience working with QuickBooks preferred
Experience working with Microsoft Excel & Word and comfortable working with various online programs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Positive attitude
