Sales Representative Job Opening in Lincoln, Nebraska - Women?s Edition magazine, a 30 year old company, is currently seeking qualified Advertising Sales Representatives. Hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. This position receives a base salary plus commission on advertising sales.
As an Advertising Sales Representative, you will partner with small companies in and around Lincoln to help promote their businesses through advertising in Women?s Edition Lincoln. Through your passion for service and your competitive drive to succeed, you will develop personalized relationships with each new and existing client.
Responsibilities
Recruit new advertisers through outbound calling, lead generation, and in-person presentations at their place of business.
Customize the buying experience for small businesses by matching their needs with their advertising budgets.
Develop relationships with new and current advertisers to increase personal referrals.
Complete sales training with Women's Edition Headquarters in Omaha, NE.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals through persistent and enthusiastic outreach
Qualifications
Must be willing and able to memorize and use scripts.
College degree preferred but not required.
Passion and commitment for helping small businesses succeed.
Sales experience preferred but not required.
Reliable vehicle and valid auto insurance.
