Accounting Clerk Job Opening in Margate City, New jersey - Accounting Clerk Overview:
As an Accounting Clerk, you will assist with the posting of day to day accounting transactions. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills, and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as effective communication with consumers, staff, management, and outside vendors. Skill set also includes multi-tasking, reliability, and commitment to consistently meeting deadlines.
Accounting Clerk Requirements:
Assist with accounts payables and payee program including filing.
Enter cash receipts as needed.
Maintain account worksheets.
Update and maintain fundraising event worksheets.
Update and maintain grant worksheets.
Assist with revenue and expense monthly reviews.
Maintains records of client property leases associated with JFS supportive housing programs.
Accounting Clerk :
Education - High School Diploma, Associate Degree or experience in Accounting, Finance.
Experience
Minimum 2 years in Accounting or related field, in a high paced environment .
EXCEL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. QuickBooks, Outlook, and database system preferred.
This position is 24 hours per week. Applicants should be available to work three - eight hour days per week.
Successful applicants will have the ability to effectively and consistently work as part of a team and should be well organized, possess excellent clinical, verbal and written communication skills, and be computer literate.
