Accounting Supervisor Job Opening in Eatontown, New jersey - We are seeking an Supervisor to join our team!
This position facilitates work flow through guidance and coaching of Accounting and Purchasing personnel in a team environment. The main function is to ensure high quality, timeliness of, and efficiency of Accounting and Purchasing through well trained personnel and effective systems to meet internal and external customer requirements while striving towards established department goals.
Full-Time (Flexible schedule is a must) 8:00 am, 9:00 am - 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm,
Monday - Friday
Preferred Experience:
Previous role in a supervisor or lead capacity
Previous role in accounting and purchasing (manufacturing)
Previous role working with multi-disciplined teams
Knowledge and understanding of accounting
Knowledge and understanding of support requirements
Process documentation
Lean Manufacturing
ERP/CRM
Inventory
Training Personnel
Team-building
Microsoft Office applications
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
Computer literate, including comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office, CRM database, SAGE/ERP, Pricing Programs
Excellent communication skills, oral and written
A demonstrable commercial sense coupled with common sense and a practical approach to problem solving
Recognize, develop, implement and refine appropriate department processes to increase work flow efficiency and/or reduce
Recognize, develop, implement and refine appropriate training methods and audit programs for department personnel
Comprehensive understanding of Lean philosophy and correlate to office needs
Ability to determine root cause of errors and address with immediate and long term resolutions (while updating training documentation and training personnel)
Ability to work effectively with multi-discipline teams
Ability to work effectively with Vendors and Customers
Excellent organization and time management skills
Knowledge of technical terminology related to our product, tools and resources
Fully execute and understand all department personnel functions and responsibilities
