Territory Sales Manager Job Opening in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - Are you a talented sales professional with experience in the industrial automation space? Do you understand PLCs, HMIs, and Servo systems? Do have knowledge and understand the application of automation products such as timers, switches, temperature controllers? Do you have experience or background in applying and sizing VFDs and process controls? Then Innovative IDM is looking for you!
Typical customers include companies that have:
Automated production facilities
Upgrade or retrofit automated machinery, or
Simply make machines
We help these businesses battle lost productivity and eroded margins typically caused by production bottlenecks, process inefficiencies, and downtime. We are different because we dont just push products. We take the time necessary to understand our customers products and processes. Once we have gained that valuable customer knowledge, we then combine that customer information with Innovatives extensive application and product knowledge to create effective solutions; solutions that reduce or eliminate production bottlenecks, help make processes more efficient, and increase uptime.
Job Duties:
Find and develop new customers.
Maintain and grow existing customers.
Weekly phone work to setup face-to-face appointments.
Learn and understand Innovatives products well enough to solve customer applications.
Product presentations and joint sales calls with vendor reps.
Qualifications:
Experience with using the phone to gain face-to-face appointments.
Experience selling higher-priced products than your competition in a highly competitive industry.
Experience selling complex solutions.
Must be good at prospecting and closing.
Experience in a technical industry is preferable.
An engineering or technical degree preferable.
3+ years sales experience desired.
Experience with Goldmine a plus.
Experience with MS Office products.
