Research Scientist, Scientist, Associate Research Scientist and Research Scientist
Title: Chemist
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Industry: Pharmaceutical
Job Duties:
Contribute to the ongoing success of timely testing of raw materials to finished product according to GMP or commercial pharmaceutical manufacturing standards.
Performs parallel review of laboratory documentation and may become qualified to perform a technical review of documents for accuracy, thoroughness and regulatory compliance.
Efficiently provide written and verbal updates on projects and activities
Execute laboratory work plan/schedule developed with input from supervisor or senior team member
Carry out analytical activities and experiments in support of the development of pharmaceutical products
Techniques include HPLC, UV/Vis, Disintegration, and Dissolution
Education: Bachelor?s degree
Salary: $19-22/hr.
Employment Type: Long-term contract
Growth Potential: This position may transition into a permanent role with a global pharmaceutical company with opportunities for growth, but no guarantee.
Scope of project: Company growth, multiple projects have created a need for additional Production Technicians
Must haves:
BS in Chemistry r closely related physical science.
1-3 years of analytical chemistry experience ( Highly desirable )
Be able to maintain high-quality laboratory documentation in accordance with applicable regulatory guidance and Site SOPs
Ability to learn and retain technical information
Good understanding and application of scientific principles and techniques.
Background in pharmaceutical separation science (HPLC, GC, CE) ( Highly desirable )
Knowledgeable in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with method validation, stability testing, release testing, etc.
Experience with HPLC a plus -Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization?s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
Complies with all current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) current Good Laboratory

Salary: $19.00 to $22.00 /hour
